JAB WELL DONE, REGASCO and MINDBRIDGE!

Regasco, Mindbridge launch vaccination drive for employees

The Republic Gas Corporation (REGASCO) and Mindbridge Resources Corporation (Mindbridge) launched their joint vaccination drive for their 2,000-strong workforce on August 25 at Nayong Pilipino Mega Vaccination Site to support the government’s effort to curb the COVID-19 pandemic.

The management was able to acquire doses of Moderna vaccine through the private sector initiative, in partnership with Liquefied Petroleum Gas Marketers’ Association (LPGMA) Partylist and the Office of Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson.

For Rosemarie Armada, one of Regasco’s call center agents for almost a year now, the company’s vaccination program gave her additional peace of mind.

“[Na-feel namin na] iniisip ng Regasco ang safety and health ng employees. Panatag ako na kahit carrier o magpositive ako sa COVID-19, hindi na ganoon kataas ang danger,” said Armada.

Armada is also thankful that all of her workmates in her area have at least received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine through various local government units’ vaccination drives.

With the added protection against COVID-19, employees will be more confident to report for work, according to Ms. Lesley Yiu, Managing Director of REGASCO. The inoculation is part of the corporation’s commitment to provide a safe and sound working environment for their employees.

“This will also give additional assurance to our valued customers that our products are properly and safely handled by vaccinated employees,” added by REGASCO CEO and President Arnel Ty.

By getting vaccinated, Ty expressed confidence that anxious employees may be finally encouraged to get their shot, as many co-workers get the jab.

Regasco and Mindbridge will still launch a series of educational-medical workshops to orient its staff on COVID-19. This can pave the way for a more productive and health-compliant corporation that advocates a safe and healthy work environment.
